Job Summary:
The Territory Manager specialized in appointing agents and expanding the agency network to sell insurance
products Include recruiting new POS partners, nurturing relationships with existing ones, and collaborating
internally to drive sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Management: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Relationship Managers (RMs) focused on retail, health, and commercial vehicle insurance products. Responsibilities include recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue targets and increasing market share across retail, health, and commercial vehicle insurance segments.
- Goal Setting and Performance Monitoring: Set clear sales goals, quotas, and performance targets for individual team members. Regularly monitor and evaluate their performance against these objectives to ensure targets are met.
- Coaching and Support: Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training to sales representatives, helping them enhance their sales skills, product knowledge, and customer service abilities to boost performance.
- Sales Meetings and Collaboration: Conduct regular sales meetings to discuss team performance, address challenges, share best practices, and align the team on sales strategies.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities, areas for improvement, and innovative sales approaches.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to senior management to keep them informed about progress toward sales targets and other KPIs.
- Industry Awareness: Stay up to date on industry developments, emerging trends, and new product offerings, especially in the non-commercial vehicle insurance sector, to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Insurance Sales: A minimum of 06-10 years of experience in general insurance products, with a focus on retail insurance and agency recruitment.(Health, Motor & Life)
- Leadership and Team Management: Proven experience in managing and motivating sales teams to achieve set objectives and maintain high performance.
- Strong Product Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of insurance products, including retail, health, and commercial vehicle insurance, as well as sales processes and agency operations.
- Sales Strategy Expertise: Strong ability to create and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share and achieve sales goals.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with team members, customers, and senior management. Ability to conduct training, coaching, and mentoring effectively.
- Adaptability and Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Flexibility and resilience in overcoming challenges.
- Willingness to Travel: Regular travel may be required to meet with agency partners, customers, and other stakeholders to support the business.
Qualifications:
- Graduation or post-graduation in a relevant field.
- 06-10 years of experience in general insurance products, with a strong emphasis on retail insurance sales and agency recruitment.

CTC 06L To 08L with other company benefits
